Charter Of The Imperial Order Of The Rose

(Revised Feb 25, 2011)

1. All persons entering IoTR must apply through the application form on the website and may be subject to further observation.

1.1 - Members who were dropped from the guild due to inactivity or who left the guild in good standing can return to the guild.

2. No swearing is allowed in guild chat, but certain milder words are accepted (such as damn, hell, ass, crap, etc). Abbreviations that include the disallowed words are also not acceptable (omfg, stfu, etc).

3. Looting, vulching, harassing or other improper activity will not be tolerated. Permission to loot a dead comrade (whether guilded or not) to return items is allowed. Any and all items recovered will be given to the proper owner as soon as it is safe to do (which means ASAP).

4. Fair dealings and honest arrangements are what this guild was founded upon. All members of the IoTR will deal fairly within the guild as well as to those not in the guild.

5. Guild members come first to one another over outsiders. Ensure that our guild members are outfitted as best you can before considering outside arrangements.

5.1: Sub Rule; Equipment you can not use should be allocated to others within the guilds. This rule however does not supersede the right to "maintain yourself in a proper manner" in regards to weapons, armor and equipment, etc.

6. Dual guild membership is not allowed and offending player will be removed from the IoTR as soon as possible, unless an exception for this player has been granted.

7. Guild Hunts, as usual, are optional and open to all. If a guild hunt is formed, all members are granted "immediate" approval to join. No member may be kept out from a guild hunt regardless of level or personal feeling.

8. Disrespect to leadership and other members of the guild is not tolerated. Offenders of this rule will be dealt with as soon as leadership is able.

9. "Imperial Council" members are the "absolute" authority in the guild. Disrespect to High Council or "rulings and orders" without just cause is grounds for disciplinary actions (Guild Leader can of course veto High Council action as needed with proper grounds for doing so.)

9.1: Sub Rule; Consideration for Imperial Court is set as follows and all "applicants" to the position must meet the following criteria;

§ 1. Ability to lead whether hunting or resource gathering.

§ 2. Ability to communicate with all members in a similar and respectful manner.

§ 3. Excellent reputation among the guild members.

(Imperial members have the right to nominate/deny any member of the guild to their numbers so long as that petitioning member meets all requirements stated above.)

10. Meetings of the guild will be arranged by the executives and handed down to High Council to dictate to members for best active participation. All members of the guild will appear at meetings unless IRL ocurrences happen or time zones dictate otherwise.

11. Activity regarding “trade bans” on specific guilds and persons in effected guilds. No help is to be given at any time until the “trade ban” is lifted. This means, no gear, no trades, no rescues, etc. The reason a “Trade ban” is in place is to ensure that the guild leader of the offending guild makes good on any damages done. Failure to comply maintains this “Trade Ban”. Failure to abide by this rule will cause offenders to be immediately removed from guild and no possibility of re-hire.

Any other topics not covered here are under the direction and approval of any High Council member. High Council member rulings are final and not up to debate in open arena (say chat). If you have a problem with the ruling, address this at meetings or as needed providing the circumstances dictate.
